Jakob Werner

Hi 👋 I'm a mathematician based in Germany. I wrote a Ph.D. thesis in Non-Archimedean Analytic Geometry under the supervision of Prof. Klaus Künnemann. Nowadays I try to maintain mathematics as an active hobby. Apart from non-archimedean geometry, my mathematical interests include constructive mathematics, category theory, locale theory and algebraic geometry.

I like programming and open source software. Recently, I started working on a Rust library implementing some structures and algorithms from commutative algebra.

I am also very interested in literature, history, philosophy and sociology and I read a lot of books in these areas. I plan to include some book recommendations on this page when I find the time.
